KUCCPS Course Checker
A placement tool that tells students exactly which courses their grades qualify them for.
Students struggled to understand KUCCPS placement options. The official information was complex, static, and overwhelming, so many made blind course decisions without clarity on what they actually qualified for.
Built a course-checking system that reads a student’s KCSE grades and cluster points, explains eligibility in plain language across degrees, diplomas, certificates, KMTC, artisan and short courses, and returns structured, downloadable PDF results instead of raw cut-off tables — with an AI assistant and cluster calculator alongside it.
Over 102,000 students have used it to check qualification in seconds rather than guessing, and it became the reference point counsellors point them to.
